Teaching Taster Courses
Are you a man considering taking up teaching?
Then you could be eligible to attend a taster course which could help you decide about teaching as a career.

o You match either of the target groups ( People from Ethnic Minorities or Men)
o You have GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent, or are making arrangements for obtaining them
o You have not already applied for Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
o You want to find out more about teaching so that you can decide whether to apply to ITT
o You are eligible to enter teacher training within 1 year of attendance
o You hold a TDA registration number or will obtain one.
(To obtain a registration number, either register with the Training Development Agency (TDA) online www.tda.gov.uk or telephone the Teaching Information Line on 0845 6000 991.)
The courses is open to both Graduates and those interested in pursuing an Under Graduate route.
